Hi, I'm James, the face behind Backewich Bookkeeping. After years of working in different trades, I made the decision to return to school and pursue a new career in bookkeeping. Why? Because I wanted a better balance - to be closer to home, more present with my family, and still contribute meaningfully through work I enjoy. I live in the beautiful Okanagan, British Columbia, with my wife and our two youngest children. When I'm not crunching numbers, you'll probably find me out in the bush with my kids - camping, hiking, or just enjoying the outdoors. Nature gives me that clarity and calm, and I bring the same grounded, dependable approach to every client I work with.
